Ennio Capasa will be the sole representative of Italian creativeness at the 2009 Webby Awards, the Internet’s equivalent of the Oscars.
His website C’n’C Costume National – www.cnc-costumenational.com – is one of the five nominees for top spot in the fashion category at the thirteenth version of this highly-sought after awards event.
“Being talked about as one of the best five sites in the world is an exceptional achievement. We are naturally delighted and proud to have been chosen,” comments Ennio Capasa, Creative Director of Costume National. “C’n’C interacts with a young audience that’s into multi-media, cinema, music, design and art: people we define as the plug generation. It’s really thanks to them we have gained this level of recognition. A big thank you must also go to NewTarget Web, our media partner in planning and design all the House’s web activities.
Started in 1996, the prestigious Webby Awards celebrate excellence in the design, creativity, user-friendliness and functionality of websites; the annual event is staged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences made up of high-profile figures such as David Bowie and Richard Branson, founder of Virgin.
The finals of the award-giving ceremony will take place in New York on 8th June; Ennio Capasa’s fans still have until 30th April to cast their vote for the C’n’C site by clicking on http://tinyurl.com/webbyawards
We’re counting on you!
