CoSTUME NATIONAL collaborates with the Hong Kong Department Store On Pedder to support Mother’s Choice (www.motherschoice.com) by participating to the “red shoe” project.

Ennio Capasa was asked to reinvent the famous magic shoe that Dorothy wore in the Wizard of Oz.
The result is a ruby suede stiletto with plateau and a metal sculpture as a heel.

“ I imagined a modern version of Dorothy, definitely urban, that walks through life with determination and sensuality”, explains the designer.

CoSTUME NATIONAL’s shoe, produced exclusively for this initiative in a unique sample, will be auctioned during the first week of December with the creations of the other artists.
