The Collective

To mark Beijing 2008 Ennio Capasa has reinvented the baseball outfit.

On show during the Beijing games, this item is part of The Collective a Lane Crawford project involving a number of international fashion designers.

”It’s been great to take part in the Olympic Games in this way with this project,” declares Ennio Capasa. ”The idea of redesigning the baseball outfit was a real challenge. I wanted to give the clothing item a sensual tone that contrasts with the staidness of the baseball uniform.”

The result is an item that hugs the forms and shapes of the body as it combines athletic performance and style.

All outfits showcased by Lane Crawford during Fashion In Motion (FIT) will be auctioned off with proceeds from sales to go to UNICEF.
