His style is one of understated quality, a quest for the essentials and elegance; his favourite music is rock & roll: energy in its purest form. Dominique Ropion, creator at IFF, has captured his personality’s salient features and channelled them into this harmonious blend of contrasts, where the extremes meet to achieve a perfect, rigorous balance between the fresh vitality of bergamot, grapefruit, thyme and cardamom and the passionate heat of spices, cinnamon and cloves, all encased in the profound, seductive, mysterious bottom notes of patchouli, sandalwood and cistus.
The shape of the bottle, designed by Ennio Capasa, is straightforward yet fluid, with rounded
corners, its simplicity underscored by its platinum-coloured screen printing. It is encased in a grey box made using a brand-new soft-touch method and decorated with a sober silver print in
relief.
