Costume finally rolls in to Fashion City!

Catwalk fever is in the air – our plane is packed with reporters and creatives flying to the French capital after the Milan shows.

It’s palpable in people’s tones and appearance - even in the way they move up and down the plane’s aisle.

In a word - self-consciousness.

The Rue Lesdiguieres show room will be CN’s headquarters for the next three days.

The clothes arrived at dawn this morning and our stylist Alastair is examining them with concentration.

For the next two days - and maybe nights - he will assist Ennio come up with the best possible matches as they work on the specific looks and appearances for the runway.

Meanwhile team members arrive at different times.

Some took the Sunday evening flight and have already been here since 8 this morning ready to finalise last-minute things and organize the parade.

Others follow with suitcases, bags and garment cases containing the last pieces.

An intense day for all – non-stop tests, fine-tuning operations and casting.

The jigsaw is taking shape!
